ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied 9i server
I try to connect to my oracle database from C#.
But whatever i try i always have the error :
ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
Even if i can connect with SQL Developer.
I use :
- Windows 10 Oracle.managedDataAccess nuggets version 18.3.0 .NET
- Framework version 4.7.2
- My data base is Oracle 9i
I already try the following things :
- Switch FipsAlgorithmPolicy/Enabled to 0
- Insert simple/double quote in my connection chaine
- Reseting password (only A-Z caractere)
- Set password in caps
- try "ALTER system SET SEC_CASE_SENSITIVE_LOGON = FALSE" but this property doesn't exist in 9i
I use the following connection string :
"Data Source = (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS_LIST = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = 192.168.X.X)(PORT = 1521)))(CONNECT_DATA = (SERVER = DEDICATED)(SERVICE_NAME = YYY))); User Id = XXX; Password = XXX;"
