Session hang issue

0

We have run a cron job for deleting daily archivelog. Due to this job there is one session hanging on specific procedure.

(ODSDEV.CC_AGENTS_EVENT_PROC)

I am going to change my question. We have stopped the cron job but still we face the same session hung issue on specified procedure.?

This is on Linux.

Please help us how to get rid of session hung issue.

  • I haven't had my coffee yet. Please be hold. Why are you not using RMAN to manage your archive log files?

  • we just need weakly backup.

  • Since you only need weekly backups, add "delete obsolete archivelog all" to the end of your weekly RMAN backup script.
