Stop connections to aurora postgres database
I am working towards upgrading my Aurora Postgres database from 1.3 (pg 9.6) to 2.2 (10.6). And since there is no major upgrade supported, I am planning to take pg_dump and do restore on the latest version of the database. Since the database size is large, pg_dump is taking couple of hours to run and assume restore will take similar time. Until dump and restore happens, I do not want to any user to be able to connect to the database until the upgrade is complete? With no pg_hba.conf file what are my options to block user access? One option I could think of is to revoke connect from user on all the dbs, any other options?
