الحزب الجمهوري الديمقراطي أو الحزب الجمهوري الجيفرسوني نسبة إلى مؤسسه توماس جيفرسون.^[1]^[2]^[3] هو حزب سياسي تم إنشاؤه في الأيام المبكرة للولايات المتحدة وكان يدعى حينها بالحزب الجمهوري. تتلاقى بعض أفكاره مع الحزب الجمهوري المعاصر وليس بالكلية. تأسس الحزب عام 1791 كحزب مضاد لتوجهات الفيدراليين أمثال ألكسندر هاميلتون. حُل هذا الحزب في عام 1828.
