Oracle XE installation on Windows 10 Pro ends abruptly
I have downloaded Oracle XE 18c for Windows 64 bit, and tried to install it on a Windows 10 Pro machine. I checked the SHA-256 checksum and it's correct.
The installation starts fine, but when it is copying new files it suddenly says "Rolling back installation", then ends and there's no error log to look at (I don't have a %Program Files%/Oracle folder with the results). Any ideas?
Note: I had the same problem with Windows 10 Home, then upgraded to Pro but the problem persists.
