The SQL Server Service Couldn't be started and logs the below error in the event viewer

Log Name: Application
Source: MSSQLSERVER
Date: 4/9/2017 12:36:06 PM
Event ID: 9003
Task Category: Server
Level: Error
Keywords: Classic
User: N/A
Computer: LUCAPP-PC

Description:
The log scan number (26:456:1) passed to log scan in database 'model' is not valid. This error may indicate data corruption or that the log file (.ldf) does not match the data file (.mdf). If this error occurred during replication, re-create the publication. Otherwise, restore from backup if the problem results in a failure during startup.
Event Xml:

I solved this issue by replacing the Model.MDF and Model.LDF files with another files from another installation for SQL Server 2008 R2 Express.

My Question is; Why this error occurs repeatedly? and How to avoid this error?
Thanks IN Advance

If this happens repeatedly - have you considered storage subsystem problems?

The procreation of the error 9003 Here may be caused due to inconsistency, corruption, or replication issues taking place between the MDF files and the LDF files. The error message might also occurred due to misconfigured system files or registry issues of files.
